This study aimed to compare attitudes towards marriage, attitudes towards divorce, and attitudes towards life among girls with and without experience living in Pseudo-family centers. This was a comparative-causal study. The research population included two groups: ordinary girls aged 15 to 17 and those residing in government Pseudo-family centers under the welfare organization in Rasht in 2024, with 180 participants selected (90 from each group). Ordinary girls were chosen using multi-stage cluster sampling, while those in Pseudo-family centers were selected through a census. The research tools included the Braten and Rosen marriage attitude scale, the Kinnaird and Gerrard divorce attitude scale, and the Reker life attitude scale. For data analysis, independent t-tests and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) were used. Analyses were performed using SPSS version 26. Results indicated significant differences in attitudes towards marriage, divorce, and life between girls with and without Pseudo-family center experience (P<0.001). Ordinary girls exhibited more positive attitudes towards marriage and life and a more negative attitude towards divorce compared to those in Pseudo-family centers. Given the negative attitudes of girls in Pseudo-family centers towards marriage and life, and their positive attitude towards divorce, it is crucial for educators in these centers to seriously consider their attitudes.
