Job readiness is the ability of individuals to prepare for future work. The present study aimed to investigate and validate job readiness among high school students in Bukan in the academic year 1403-1404. The research subjects included all male and female high school students, from which 654 people were collected using a non-random sampling method. The research method was descriptive and structural equation modeling.The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the research has a good fit. Thus, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to examine the reliability of the questionnaire. The overall Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.92 and its subscales were obtained as follows: knowledge and skills 0.86, motivation 0.90, environment 0.80, activities 0.83. Its content validity was also confirmed by 9 experts in the field of counseling and its split-half reliability was also confirmed as 67%. Its criterion validity was reported with the job adaptability questionnaires 0.504, with dynamic personality 0.416, and with job exploration 0.553. The results obtained showed that the job readiness questionnaire has the necessary capabilities to measure job readiness among Iranian students and can be used for research in the field of measuring students' job readiness.
