The weakness of executive functions in children is one of the important factors in the failure in academic progress and even in daily functions. Measuring executive functions can help children and their families make decisions for the future of these students. The purpose of the present study is to compare the rating of parents and performance tasks in measuring the executive functions of elementary school boys and girls. The current research was a type of correlational research. The socio-statistics of this research includes all students from 7 to 12 years old in Tehran's 22nd district who were studying in 1402-1403. Sampling method in this research was available sampling. Two schools were selected from among the schools of the 22nd district and 100 people were selected from among these two schools. First, executive actions tests (Wisconsin, Corsi and go-no-go) were taken from the students individually, and then the parents of these students were given a link to the BRIFE2 questionnaire and they filled this link. The results of Komogrove's statistical method and Pearson's correlation showed that there is a significant relationship between working memory in Corsi test and BRIFE2 component indicators. The results of this study showed that both tools for evaluating executive functions are useful tools for measurement and which one evaluates executive functions more accurately. There was this correlation in the working memory index, but no significant relationship was seen in other indices.
